Maverick will have to teach his wards a skill in a tight time that will help them survive the task, as well as face the ghosts of their past.
“Top Gun: Maverick”, the film, which was postponed for almost 2 years, finally saw the light, and Joseph Kosinski, who had already worked with Tom Cruise in Oblivion, took up the sequel to the cult action movie. To begin with, I am a fan of Tom Cruise and always look forward to his new work with interest, as you know, Tom Cruise knows how to surprise with the crazy stunts he performs during the filming of “Top Gun: Maverick” It was an exception that Tom Cruise did stunts himself here like a pilot - it looked amazing, so it took your breath away, it's incredible.
From a visual point of view, the cinema turned out to be spectacular, dynamic, not boring, there is a dramatic component in relation to the son of his deceased friend Maverick, most of the film is devoted to preparation heroes to the task, so mostly the characters spend in the sky and it is interesting to watch this, tension remains throughout the film, partly unpredictability will be able to complete the mission or no. I liked the cinematography, it was shot very well, there was a feeling that you were about to fly into the sky together with the characters, the movie turned out to be, I would say, alive, real, there is no falsehood here, the feeling realism is at the limit here.
About actors. Tom Cruise, Maverick, his hero becomes a mentor for the younger generation, and he is not going to retire, because piloting is his life, although some believe that his time has passed. Tom Cruise in the form of Maverick is good, taking into account the fact that he personally piloted the plane and performed stunts, I want, figuratively speaking, to take off his hat in front of him.
Miles Teller, Bradley Bradshaw, his hero is the son of Maverick's deceased friend Nick, he can't forgive Mitchell for the death of his father, and he wants to prove to Maverick that he deserves to be a pilot and that he must go on a mission. Miles Teller in the image was convincing, it was interesting to watch how his hero overcomes his fear and becomes a real fighter.
Jennifer Connelly, Penny, Maverick's love interest, a pleasant heroine who tries to support the hero morally, help him understand that all is not lost. Val Kilmer, Iceman, from the old guard, so to speak, appeared in a cameo role.
In general, “Top Gun: Maverick” turned out to be a worthy continuation of the old story, from a visual point of view, the cinema is impressive.
